Course introduction

Dalat Palace Golf Club is located at 5,000 feet above sea level in the temperate plateau of Dagu, all the way down to Chunxiang Lake. The players in the Grand Palace can always recall the French colonial period of the year. The stadium's layout was only 9 holes when it was built in 1922. It was funded by the country's most famous player (Baoyu, the last emperor of Vietnam) and completed a full 18-hole course ten years later. The Dalat Palace Golf Course was abandoned after World War II and was not reinstated until 1959. In early 1966, the Dalat Palace hosted professional players from around the world for several months, including Billy Casper, who later defeated Arnold Palmer at the US Open at the San Francisco Olympic Club. After the reunification of Vietnam, the stadium was abandoned again in 1975. It finally came back in 1993 and was greatly innovated by a group of American investors. At the beginning of 1994, the expansion of the refurbished Dalat Palace officially re-emerged as one of the emerging golf resort destinations in Southeast Asia.

Designed by Brett Stanson, the stadium is 7009 yards long and is a pleasant challenge for golfers of all levels. Junior players will pass a series of lake tests, and in 18 holes, these lakes will lie between 10 holes. Coupled with the strategic deployment of the bunker, it will be a big penalty for the wrong golfer. High-level players feel a sigh of relief, because a large tempered green is often suitable for low-rolling, and the fairway is wide and flat.

In the survey of the Golf Digests 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2007, the Dalat Palace Golf Club has always been the top course in Vietnam. In 2007, Asia Golf Monthly ranked Dalat Palace as one of the top 10 stadiums in Asia. The club is also a member of the world's best golf club (London). All awards have spared no effort in awarding the best golf course in Vietnam!
