Vietnam is again one of Asias top investment destinations
Vietnam is again one of Asia's top investment destinations in 2019, according to a survey by the world's top accounting firm, Price waterhouse Coopers.
Raymund Chao, PWC's head of Asia Pacific, said 2019 was the second year in a row that Vietnam was among Asia's top investment destinations, as south-east Asia emerged as a region with huge investment potential.
Southeast Asia is overtaking China as the most profitable investment destination in 2019, according to the latest statistics from BBS.
In 2017, asean countries attracted a record $137 billion in foreign direct investment, $14 billion more than in 2016. According to a report released in November 2018, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore accounted for 72 percent of asean's total foreign investment.
